主線圍繞第一集大結(jié)局搬來的黑人主婦“貝蒂·愛波懷特”。她在地下室建了一個(gè)牢房，關(guān)了一個(gè)看似非常危險(xiǎn)的人。后來知道這個(gè)人其實(shí)是她的大兒子，殺了二兒子的女友，貝蒂不想讓兒子被抓，又怕他繼續(xù)傷人，便把他關(guān)了起來。然而，真相并非如此……
