警視廳里存在一支特殊的隊(duì)伍，他們與罪犯對(duì)峙靠的不是槍支彈藥或是火拼，也無需斗得你死我活，而主要是依靠嘴和強(qiáng)大的心理承受力，這只隊(duì)伍簡稱為“SIT”，也就是我們所說的談判專家。 和犯人通過溝通協(xié)商的形式，以最小的代價(jià)拯救人質(zhì)、當(dāng)事人，這是SIT們的主要職責(zé)。在這支以男性居多的隊(duì)伍中，有一抹亮麗的身影，那就是踩著高跟鞋，雷厲風(fēng)行的宇佐木玲子（米倉涼子 飾）。但是她的到來起初并不受到男性同事們的待見，大家認(rèn)為她的能力不足以扛下交涉人的重任。但隨著一系列事件的展開，玲子向他們展示了自己不亞于男性的談判能力，得到了廣大同事，包括其上司桐沢圭吾（陣內(nèi)孝則 飾）等人的認(rèn)同……
