故事發(fā)生在二十世紀(jì)初期，澳大利亞政府決定實(shí)行一項(xiàng)殘酷的計(jì)劃，他們強(qiáng)行將白人與當(dāng)?shù)赝林幕煅⒆觽儚挠H人身邊帶走，編入摩爾河營(yíng)地，通過(guò)訓(xùn)練和教化將他們變?yōu)榱畠r(jià)勞動(dòng)力，更妄圖用包辦婚姻來(lái)改變他們那所謂的“低賤血統(tǒng)”。
